About the Tours
Each year, the American Birding Association endorses a carefully selected group of tours developed and run by tour operators who have a proven record of competence and quality. We make these selections because we believe they offer our members a particularly fine birding experience and meet the high standards of an ABA-endorsed tour. When you are interested in an ABA-endorsed tour, please contact the tour company directly for information and reservations.
Your participation in an ABA-endorsed tour also means increased revenue for ABA. Tour companies pay ABA a commission for each ABA member participating in a tour, in exchange for our endorsement and our marketing of these tours in ABA media. Please note that this is a commission paid by the tour company to ABA and is not a donation or contribution that might be considered tax deductible.
To assure ABA receives commission credit for your participation, you need to advise the tour company that you are contacting them about an ABA-endorsed tour.
While ABA endorses selected tours, it is not responsible for any aspect of the tour's operation, neither arrangements for transportation, lodging nor the actual conduct of the tour. All responsibility for a tour's operation rests with the company running the tour.
