Arun Bose has been birding for over 25 years. He is a graphic designer, and lives in Richmond, VA.

Originally from London, England Arun has birded extensively in the UK, with excursions of varying length to Spain, India, Nepal, Canada and the US.

These days he does much of his birding locally. He is a regular contributor to Virginia Birds (quarterly journal of the Virginia Society of Ornithology). Arun also participates in CBCs, BBSs and other surveys.

When Arun is not birding he enjoys showing his family birds (and other wildlife) and listening to a wide range of music.

Arun will receive a Minox 62mm Angled Spotting Scope w/40x Wide Angle Eyepiece, donated by Leica Sport Optics, for submitting correct answers for all six quizzes posted between April 2005 and September 2005.
