Big Day and List Report

The American Birding Association publishes the annual Big Day Report and List Report as a supplement to Birding. This publication showcases our members' birding achievements via a collection of anecdotal, one-day birding adventures and species list totals from the previous year.

We have posted the 2007 Big Day Report and List Report. The printed issue will mail with the May/June issue of Birding.

Big Day reports may be submitted at any time after completion of the Big Day, but must be received no later than 31 January. List Reports, including species added to your various lists throughout the calendar year should not be submitted until you have hung up your binoculars for that year. Participants are encouraged to submit their reports 31 December-31 January to avoid confusion and assure inclusion.

Please allow us ample time to respond to your questions, such as countability of species, as they often take time for verification.
