BIRDERS' EXCHANGE RECIPIENTS

Club de Ornitólogos Aficionados de Loja "Amazilia"

• We have carried out field works with teachers of some schools of the Loja City to the Podocarpus National Park with emphasis in the birds observation. The Animal Protection Foundation participated in this activity.
   
• We have carried out field works in the Forests near the city of Loja, with some students of diverse schools. The Animal Protection Foundation and the Foundacion Ecologica Arcoiris also participated in this activity.
   
• We have made field works in the the Podocarpus National Park in The San Francisco Reserve with students of several schools and colleges of the city. This activity was also supported by members of The Fundacion Ecologica Arcoiris.
   
• In October for the month of the birds we have given some talks and conferences as well as field trips for the students of the School of Environmental Administration of the Universidad Tecnica Particular de Loja.
   
  
• In October we also carried out the World Bird Festival. We made a competition of Drawing and Painting for the World Bird Festivals, in which many students of schools and colleges of the city of Loja participated. This activity was also supported by the Universidad Tecnica Particular de Loja. (School of Environmental Administration) and the Fundacion Ecologica Arcoiris.
   
• Also, I have continued doing Environmental Education Activities with emphasis on birds to the many children and young that attend our Foundation.
   
• Some of these activities have not been able to register in pictures.
